brad65ford
hey guys need some advice. Been running a bb 6g setup with fully cured live rock corillina algae covered with some lps and some very small sps frags. My alk/cal consumation is about 1-2ml a day. most of the alk/cal usuage is from the rocks themselves imo at this point but the frags have started to take off. Trying to keep alk at 7.7-8.0 at the moment with manual dosing in the morning. I really don't want to manual dose but also don't have much space on the kitchen for dosing pumps (wife bearly lets me keep it where it is LOL) Is there any small dosing pumps available or other opinions i can do? TheKleinReef
I ran my dosing lines through the ceiling in the basement into the tank directly above it. Maybe you could run the lines through the wall, floor, or one of the cabinets? Keeping the dosers and reservoirs out if sight. Link to comment
Halo_003
If the tank is in the kitchen why not put them in a cabinet? They shouldn't take up that much space. Link to comment
Bingo1213
Most dosing pumps are quite large but these BRS dosing pumps have a 20 foot max head height meaning you could mount them in a cabinet a ways from the tank and still have them work. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-2-part-doser-1-1-ml-per-minute-1.html Link to comment
