Bingo1213
I currently have a 25 gallon nano mixed reef aquarium that has been up and running for a little over a year. It is home to a clownfish, a purple fire fish, a Bangaii Cardinalfish, a skunk cleaner shrimp, a tuxedo urchin and many corals. As far as filtration goes I have a 5 gallon sump with a skimmer, ATO, and refugium. The tank also has a BRS dual reactor in which I run purigen, GFO, Carbon, and Seachem denitrate. I am also running a turbo twist UV sterilizer. The tank has around 30 pound of live rock as well as 20lbs of live sand. I would like to add at least one more fish and would like it to be unique and different. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!Parameters: Salinity: 1.025Ph: 8.18Temp: 80-82Ammonia: 0Nitrite: 0Nitrate: <1Phosphate: <.25Calcium: 400 Link to comment
Bingo1213
Also I forgot to mention my clean up crew. I have 5 red leg hermit crabs, 8 blue leg hermit crabs, 8 nassarius snails, 5 cerith snails, 5 astrea snails, one Mexican Turbo snail, a brittle starfish, and an emerald crab. Link to comment

1.0reef
IMO a rock or sand dweller would be nice, that could be a small Hawkfish, geometric pygmy hawkfish (not actually a hawkfish), shrimp/watchmen gobies, clown gobies, cleaner gobies, small blennies, jawfish, etc Link to comment
Bingo1213
I agree about the sand or rock dweller! I know most hawkfish will eat my cleaner shrimp but are geometric pygmy hawkfish shrimp hungry as well? Also do jawfish tend to make a mess with sand or are they pretty good about not trashing a tank haha Link to comment
Rememberme
Tailspots blennies are cool. They like to hide in little holes and crevices. They are algae eaters, but even though liveaquaria says that it's a herbivore, IME they like mysis and brine as well. Link to comment

Not sure on the Jawfish. Link to comment
Mr. Microscope
+1 to tailspots. They're a lot of fun! Link to comment
Polarcollision
flasher wrasses are fun to watch and will sleep in your rocks. So are the smaller leopard wrasses. They sleep in the sand Link to comment
Bingo1213
What makes leopard wrasses so hard to take care of? I always hear how hard they are but have never know why lol Also which species would work in a 25? Link to comment
