One of our local customers, Nik, provided these shots of his work in progress water-making station.

Please reply and share a photo of where you mix your saltwater so we can help inspire and learn from each other!

Feel free to include details of how or why you set things up the way you did and which equipment you used.

Awesome would love to see some more pics and ideas. Currently waiting on floor tile to show up but a sink install / water station will be the next thing on the list.

Work in progress....

That's a nice looking shelf unit! Did you get the containers locally or online (if we may pry)? ;)

I got the 2 containers on top online, they are dog food containers, hold about 35 gallons each. The bottom container is from a tractor supply store locally, holds 55 gallons.

I'm gonna contect the top two containers to hold fresh water. Then have them drain into the 55g container to mix salt.

The shelving unit sits right next to my quarantine system that has 2 5g fluval specs and one 37g tall. Makes for easy water changes.

Everything drains into my house sump pit.

Thinking about setting up a phyto tank and to start breeding Hawaiian red shrimp to feed my seahorses.

This is basically how I do things now, although I recently made room in my garage to set up a more permanent mixing station. It's difficult to find the time between work, commuting and kids... but some day... this year... hopefully. lol

Hey Jeff any word on getting any nutramar ova in?

Hi atrox. Thank you for your question.

I checked our purchase order system and didn't see any POs pending, so I reached out to our buyers to ask what's up. Apparently the lack of stock is on the vendor side; Nutramar doesn't have inventory nor do they have an ETA of when more Ogo will be available. Our purchasing team did state they are monitoring the matter so that we can replenish our shelves as soon as they make it available.

Sorry I don't have better news to report. :(

This is my setup. BRS 6 stage chloramines deluxe setup plumbed into a 30 gallon brute trash can with a float valve to shut off the RO/DI system when it's full.
