jabeuy
I noticed a clear worm like thing in my tank. I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't on the glass, but I followed it moving along the sand bed. Here's a video of it: Anyone know what it is? Should I take it out if I see it again? Here's another video: Link to comment
jabeuy
Good advice. I'll take it out if I see it again. Still interested in knowing what it is though. Link to comment
Nano sapiens
May be a Polyclad Flatworm...good sized one whichever species it is. Larger flatworms like this are often predatory on clams, snails, etc, so make sure you get it out. Link to comment
jabeuy
Thanks. I'll definitely take it out. Now, if only I can spot it again... Link to comment
Dr.Brain Coral
There is a crazy vieo on the youtube about a polyclad chasing a crab across the land in a tide pool. Link to comment
Polarcollision
+1 polyclad flatworm. I had one in my first tank--ate my snails. Link to comment
Dr.Brain Coral
Unless you have expensive clams they could be a cool inhabitant. Every now and then order a snail pack from reef cleaners and request a couple extra snails. You will have food for it forever. Link to comment
Mike Savage
It doesn't look like any Polyclad Flatworm that I have ever seen. I've also never seen anything like that before. Link to comment
jabeuy
If it is a flatworm, I'll probably take it out if I see it again. Don't want it eating up all my snails. I also saw a small, brown slug looking thing sliding across my glass. Kinda like a small snail without it's shell. So many hitchhikers just popping out now lol Link to comment
