ps2cho
I've been doing a lot of reading and I think my tank has adequate footprint to support for a few years. I'm reading they grow about an inch a year. My plan is to have this 60g for a few years then go bigger and use it as a frag tank since it's shallow. Is a yellow or blue more appropriate for my plan? Also I currently have a kole tang would there be any fighting? Link to comment

Maybe a little social ordering to establish the pecking scale at first, but they will get along. There isn't much combat between long nose tangs and bristle mouths. Ps. I have a yellow tang in a 40B that is super happy, and I have many yellows in other tanks with Koles's also. Link to comment
ps2cho
I don't wanna do anything until I resolve why my kole tang is thin...I think it's a parasite but I wanna fix that first. I'll end up QT for 6 weeks either way. I'd love a blue but will settle for a yellow if the blue would be less happy. Keep in mind I am set on my future upgrade plans. That is why I went for a shallow for this so it's a perfect future frag tank. My aqua scape is very open with a lot of rock too. Plenty of space. Link to comment
