So I've finally had this thing up and running on the tank for a few weeks now, and as promised to Dave I'm giving my full review

Out of the Box:

Definitely a sleek looking unit, beautifully crafted and designed to last!

Setup:

Set up was a breeze, just attach the gooseneck to the unit and bam good to go, the gooseneck attachment wasn't wide enough for the acrylic tank I had so Dave gladly made another one and had it shipped out for me. The storm controller took all but two seconds to configure and following the steps on the Coralux website, it was very swift.

Running:

The light runs absolutely gorgeous, a wide array of colors and when using the storm controller it's great to watch the sunrise/sunset step by step. The cloud functions are great too, every time it activates while I'm on the computer I just stop and look for a few seconds and admire ;) .

The fan is a little bit loud though, about as loud as a computer sounds but it's generally not too bad.

Customer Support:

Dave is an absolute master of his craft, especially when it comes to customer service. The patience this man has is ridiculous for all the questions I/We bombard him with on a daily basis and he's more than willing to help. A+++++

Overall:

A great unit that has few competitors when looking at design, coral growth, coverage, and overall ease of use with a light.

Here's a few pictures:

You know what, that's a great question and I'm not exactly sure. Hopefully Dave sees this post and can chime in.

Those are the violets. His older boards did not include the violet diodes and those needed to be added separately. The new boards use about the same diodes, but has all 13 on one board.

Ah perfect! Leave it to Ben to come to the rescue lol :) ...dedicated moonlight channels to my knowledge cost extra, but running the lights during the night phase at 1% gives off the same effect. My corals definitely are getting a lovely neon effect as well.

Here's a rather crummy picture from bed before I adjusted from 5% at night to a manual 1%, it's very dim.

I like my personal assistant Ben :D

Thanks for this! To mention this was a flawed unit. So the extra hole is not normal.

Btw, my fan got more and more quiet as time went on. I think after a month or so it got completely silent. I thought it broke, but nope just went silent.
