HELP! Save my LPS!

I was sitting down to relax and take some pictures of my tank today when I noticed two hermits furiously going at one of the branches.. I pulled them off and put them in the sump.. only to see they've eaten through half the skeleton. I then noticed tons of other little pests..

I don't have any pictures yet, but I did save some and will get pictures later. Some were black, some orange square like things, and some long rigid tube like thingies white in color with maybe an orange tip.

I pulled my hammer and frogspawn out, dipped in Iodine for 10 minutes, then rinsed in tank water, then a short FW dip. Bugs came off everytime.

After putting them back in, I realized they're everywhere.. all over the tank and other LPS.. I stopped what I was doing since i figured it wouldn't matter cleaning them off to just put them back into battle with the bugs.

Is there anything I can do to stop this? I feel like the way this is going, I'm going to lose all LPS in the tank, which is around 6 coral.

I'm going into research mode now but wanted to get this out there in case anyone has any ideas.

thanks!

I see a feather duster and Spirorbid polychaetes. Both harmless.

Pic isn't very clear to see the other stuff :/

Yeah, sorry, I with that much damage I went into dipping mode.I'll check again later and if there's anything else visibile I will get pictures.

There were some black bugs burrowed into the skeleton as well, they only came out after the FW dip

Nano sapiens

Pics aren't so clear, but it looks like 'Brown Jelly' infection and the scavengers are just cleaning up the mess.

Now that you say that, there was a failed attempted at a new branch awhile ago when I first bought it, perhaps it could have happened there.

Been monitoring the past day, things seems to be reovering and i've moved the carnivorous hermits to the sump.. The tank gets fed well, so i would not expect them to be trying to find extra food.

i'll be keeping track the next few days and see how things go.
