As large as you can fit under in the stand, and get to all your equipment.

Your 10 gallon? Get a heater and AC70 for it and make it your QT or hospital tank.

10 gallons is a why-bother size on a 60 gallon.

Remember you need extra empty room in the sump for when the power goes out, a 10 gallon is just to small, 1 will get you 20 that it will flood first time you turn off pump.

I also recommend Zeovit.

Use your 10 gallon tank for ATO reservoir or hospital tank.

That fluval above would be good filtration on the 10 gallon hospital tank. Dont even think if putting that on a 65 REEF tank.

Why Zeovit?

Depending on what inhabitants occupy your tank determines which filtration system fits your needs. For me, simplicity and reliability are paramount. To that end, I choose inhabitants that are easy to care for and use a lagoon biotheme mixing easy to care for corals, fish and macroalgae.

Because its an effective fitration system.

I would consider Zeovite as more than effective. With proper use, it provides spectacular results. However, it requires much attention to detail. IMO, Zeovite is for advanced, dedicated hobiest with the time and skill to optimize its implementation.
