tibbsy07
Just got my 5.5g CUC from Reef Cleaners. Excellent customer service! I have ordered from them previously, and have always had good luck. This time was no exception. I will never order a CUC from anyone else. Ever. Run down: I ordered Tuesday afternoon, and immediately received a personal email from John himself saying it would ship Wednesday via 2-day priority mail. Wednesday I received an email/tracking number of my package, complete with acclimation instructions. Today I got my package right on time. Very fast, very efficient. Everything is alive and kicking. The snails immediately started moving around the tank, burrowing in sand, cleaning up. Awesome! The chaeto is healthy and happy. The penny macro has been claimed and is being eaten, much to my behest, by my emerald crab in his lair. Turd. Only one problem. The number of snails is a tiny tiny bit off. From the Website: "5 Dwarf Ceriths - small cleaners that get to the nooks and crannies. Feed on diatoms, cyano, algal detritus, and film algae. Nocturnal cleaners that leave the sandbed at night to search for food. 2 Nassarius - scavengers that will eat leftover food and some fish waste. They will stir sand, but can also be kept in bare bottom tanks.4 Florida Ceriths - small cleaners that get to the nooks and crannies. Feed on fine hair algae, diatoms, cyano, algal detritus, and film algae. Nocturnal cleaners that leave the sandbed at night to search for food. 3 Small Nerites - We are currently offering the longer lived and quite hardy Antillean Nerite. (Nerita fulgurans). It grows to a nice size, and consumes a good deal of diatoms, cyano, algal detritus, and film algae. It will also consume some fine hair algae. A nocturnal herbivore that will feed more often at night, they tend to need some time to adjust to the limitations of the aquarium during their first week." Um... So... I got WAY more snails than advertised I got like 10-12 Florida ceriths, and easily 50 or more various size dwarf ceriths (who knows what else in all that mess!). 4 Nerites, not 3. The rear corner had to get some, too. There are some on the rocks and under the sand now, so you can't even see them all in these pictures. Sheesh! John - you need help. 5 dwarf ceriths is not the same as 5 handfuls of dwarf ceriths!! tl;dr Reef Cleaners is the best CUC site around. Fast, efficient, excellent customer service, excellent livestock, unbeatable pricing, and you get TONS for your money. Accept no substitutes. Reef Cleaners all the way. Link to comment
smiz
I could not agree more! I live in NY and this is the only place I ever buy CUC from. Great prices and yes I think John confuses individuals with handfuls haha. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
I need to order a good CUC for my nano asap. I bought some stuff from a LFS but I think I might order some other stuff from John. Great to hear continuous amazing reviews about them. Link to comment
tibbsy07
John can't count. Fact. That or he has hypermutant snails that clone themselves en route. Link to comment
Boggers
The ONLY time I get a CUC somewhere else is if it is something he doesn't carry. I will ALWAY think of him first for snails. He comes closer to the mark when you order rock Link to comment
Horerczy
You should see his idea of a small barnacle cluster. Is huge. Link to comment
LEEWINK
I wouldnt complain over here prices are silly for CUC, just spent £70 ($120) on a top up for my tank, its only a 120 litre ! getting a "few" thrown in sounds cool to me Link to comment

John is the best hands down. I'm just being silly. Seriously, I have gotten 3 CUC and 2 have been from John. The 3rd was only 3 snails from the LFS and they died. Reef Cleaners for life. le0p
Couldn't agree more, I ordered the 40 breeder package but I think I got the 400 breeder package. All alive and kicking. I won't buy CUC from anywhere else ever again. He's the best. Link to comment
Mariaface
The same. Exact. Thing. Happened to me when I ordered last week! I counted out 275 dwarf ceriths. It was pretty beautiful. John has my vote for snails, pretty much forever and ever. Link to comment
