frahny
So I walked into premium aquatics on Friday after some golf with the boss man. I had been toying with the idea of a desk top Pico and wouldn't you know the first thing I see is a little JBJ Cubey for sale. Asked how much and boom sold $20 with live rock and sand. The light flickers a bit but all in all its solid just needs a little TLCGot it homeCleaning upLeak test passedLights but are being replaced:) Link to comment

aviator300
Coral Compulsion Par 30 22k "Superblu" LED. I have one hanging over my JBJ 3 gal Picotope. It grows coral great and has that great blue look that you're seeking. 59.00 and its light enough to use any fixture to mount it in. Jimmy at coral compulsion is great to work with. Here is a shot of my Picotope with the Coral Compulsion light. This tank is only 3.5 months old so the corals are still small but growing well. Link to comment

The tank looks great and cant wait for all of those corals to grow in. I have been checking things on at night as I usually do and little to my surprise i have found 3-4 vermetid snails. I will probably just super glue there holes shut but does anyone have any other experience with these? Since the tank is so young I thought about completely drying out the LR and starting the process over. THOUGHTS? Link to comment
Moolelo
I can't believe no one replied to this yet. You could break off tip and superglue. I personally have a large population that I control with a grape drupe. This snail goes around a eats a few here and there so they don't get out of hand. The few vermetids that are around help keep tank debris off rocks and corals (my mechanical filtration). Link to comment
