Mpy
Most people dont usually need an ID on a fish, but I am not most people.. I got a new fish that I am pretty sure is a goby, but I could very well be wrong. It seems to have a suction cup on the belly, hard to photograph but it is kinda visible in one of the pictures. It is a very small goby, under half an inch(the holes in the container are 1/8"). Link to comment

1.0reef
Lumpsucker (Cyclopteridae) maybe??? All the species I know of are CW though.... I think SA bred them and they were on DD and tropical fish a few months ago.... Link to comment
thesmallerthebetter
clingfish! maybe Tomicodon zebra? it has a tropical range... but judging by the pale grey fish in the backround (a jack a presume) it was a collected rather than purchased aquisition.... Link to comment
Mpy
Yes, it was wild collected on the Florida coast along with the bait fish. So it is either a native or invasive to the Atlantic coast of Florida. I had never heard of a clingfish before, but that looks to be what it is! Now I know what to look up. Link to comment

Mpy
Well I am excited, it will make a great addition to my primarily Florida native(&invasive(porcelain crabs)) tank. One great thing is in the two days I have had him I already noticed him eat pellet food which is a big bonus. Link to comment

Mpy
Update! He was released into my 55 gal tank in July, and I hadn't seen him since then. He was out and about last night, he has grown to about the size of a rubber-lip pleco you would get from the pet store. Link to comment
