-evan
So 2 days ago I bought a coral beauty angel, and everything was going well until I realized that it wasn't eating, I scooped it out and moved it into a qt tank and this morning I woke up and it was rapidly breathing and laying on the bottom of the tank. It has a film of white that is barely noticeable on half of it's left side. Does anybody know what this could be/what I could try to treat him with? Link to comment
Tamberav
Sounds like brooklynella, a very fast killer. Pray it didn't spread to the other fish. Formalin is the treatment. http://www.chucksaddiction.com/brookynella.html Link to comment

The other fish looked fine this morning so I'm hoping they're okay. Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Formalin dip is the only way to save it. But I won't keep my hopes up. Brook strikes fast and the fish is usually at the brink of death once you catch up on what's going on. Clownfish are especially susceptible to Brook. Link to comment
