Driftwood58
I had a tank running for over a year. Then i got a new ADA tank which looks great . I spent a ton of money on equipment and let the new tank cycle for three months before transfering things over. All my corals are doing ok, however all my inverts die on a regular basis. This isnt new to the new tank it happened in the old one also. Fish and corals do fine everything elses dies over a short period of time except an emerald crab and an anenome that have been doing fine. I have only lost two corals, but countless inverts. I dont understand .....maybe i should give up........what a waste of a small fortune and precious life. Please help with any advice or info.... Death List: 1. 2 Sexy shrimp 2. 5 Pepermint shrimp 3. Strawberry crab 4. Pom pom crab 5. Electric blue hermit 6.Coral banded shrimp 7. Anenome shrimp 8. Arrow crab 9. 3 Scarlet Hermits 10. Countless Snails 11.2Porcelain Crabs 12.Feather Dusters 13 Various Types of Macro Algaes 14. Ricordia Mushroom 15.Button Coral Few of these bodies were ever found or recovered. Link to comment
FlowerMama
Was there enough for the critters to eat? were they killing each other? parameter swings or anything since the inverts are more sensitive? Did you do regular water changes? and esp when anything died? You'll have to fill in some blanks for more assistance. It's too open. Link to comment

No i mean no bodies of any sort belonging to the shrimp or non shelled crabs. I do weekly water changes on my 8.5 gallon tank of between 1-2 gallons. Link to comment
