par38 vs cadlights 8g light

does anyone have experience with the cad lights on the 8g of how strong it is and what it can actually keep?

 

would a par bulb be stronger?

i dont have first hand experience with either, but just by looking at the 2 lights, i'd go with a full spectrum par38 over the stock light. reason being is because the cad lights uses blue/white only where the par 38 would use a wider variety of diodes to give better color rendition. also the tank is $60 cheaper without the light, which only leaves an additional $25 to get a dimmable par38 from coral compulsion.
