I don't know weather to retrofit a kit like steeves or rapid LED or go with a hanging kit? I currently just have softies in the tank and I don't plan to have SPS Link to comment

my_sons_reef Posted April 15, 2014 Author Share Posted April 15, 2014 I can do without the hood. I'm only asking about a retrofit to keep the original hood but I'm not a very good DIY'er with electronics. If it means saving a few hundred dollars on a hood I'll keep it. Link to comment

You could go with the reefbreeders value fixture, a kessil a350/360, or even a radion or hydra. A lot more options to choose from. Link to comment
