Based
So I recieved one as a mistake from liveaquaria 9 days ago. I have yet to get him/her to eat yet. I've tried 4 different foods so far and the only food he's went after was dr gs. Copepods max but he spit them out. The other 3 foods are mysis, spirluna brine, and dr gs. Caviar max. I keep forgetting to pick up garlic guard, but is there any other type of frozen food I should try? Link to comment
CrazyCarl
I have a gold banded possum wrasse and he used to only eat cyclop-eeze and was spitting out the majority of it, but he also took frozen mysis (Hikari Biopure) after about a week. now he eats anything. Try the garlic and maybe get some cyclop-eeze. Link to comment
jack1978
My Yellow Banded Possom hid for a month with sightings here and there. They hunt pods constantly. He's now the biggest pig in the tank, eats anything. Link to comment
gena
I have a pink-streaked wrasse (similar fish) and he is constantly hunting pods too. He will eat Reef Nutrition ROE. Loves the stuff. But it's expensive. Link to comment
Arkayology
Give it a few more days to acclimate. I found Tanakas and Possum wrasses to love brine and mysis. Have you tried using garlic? Link to comment

Mr. Microscope
Try cyclope-eze. Most fish go nuts for them. It was the only thing I could get my YCG to go after. If it takes the bait, start mixing it with mysis. It should make the transition eventually. Link to comment
gena
My pink streaked will eat anythingMine seems picky. He just started eating live blackworms. The only things I've seen him eat are pods, ROE, and live blackworms. He's really fat so he's doing well . Link to comment

I was expecting him to be much more reclusive based on what I read. Swims into the tiniest crevices also. Very fun to watch. Actually swims into my mp10 when I turn it off. Almost killed him once. I'm convinced he recognizes me too. Link to comment
Based
The tanaka took a bit of mysis yesterday, it seems the garlic helped. Link to comment
