R1_ERIC
ok . so my hammers and frog spawns are receding and two of my zoas wont open ? not sure what im missing I have led lights , sea swirl ,and returns for flow but everything has been fine till about 2 months ago . so I checked all my levels and my kh was low at about 6 I brought it back up to 9 and its been holding there . my other levels are ammonia 0 ph 8.2 nitrate 0.25 nitrite 0.0 mag 1200 kh 9 calcium 380 phosphate 0 I just bought a new rodi unit and the tds was 0 I use instant ocean salt . o by the way not sure if it matters but its a 220 gallon display 75 gallon refugium and a 30 gallon sump . I don't know what else to check or do. hopefully someone has some answers . I lost a bunch of mushrooms but I think that was from the kh being low . plus I cant keep an acro alive to save my life not sure if that makes a difference Link to comment

R1_ERIC
what do you think the mag mag should be 1400 Link to comment
LEEWINK
mag should be about 1290, this and strontium I add without fail calcium only if needed, then KH, but thats really the bottom of my list. I wouldn't be over fussed for now, but I would add additive to compensate, thats me though, I like to be regimental and correct where I can.
