Arkayology
I would skip the chromis, but if you want to add the flasher wrasse and gramma I say go for it. They are both good fishes and will be fine with your current livestock. I would suggest looking into midas blennies as well. They are very cool and personable fish. Link to comment
ragtimewilly
Your list is pretty similar to what I'd like to stock in my 40 breeder, except subbing in a tailspot blenny for the royal gramma. Ark, any reason for suggesting to skip the chromis? I've also heard mixed things about having flasher wrasses in a 40 breeder, some suggest they do better in a longer tank where they can swim a bit more. Anyways I'll be interested in what you decide to stock. Link to comment
Sugardaddy1979
Thanks guys! I'm hearing that the chromis are carrying a disease that I can't remember or pronounce. Also considering a mystery wrasse. Link to comment
Tamberav
I think mystery wrasse's can be jerks so be careful. I think a small leopard or coris would be pretty cool! I have a coris in mine for awhile now and he seems to be a very slow grower. A fang blenny would also be amazing. They swim a lot and come in a huge array of colors. Link to comment
Sugardaddy1979
Haven't looked at fang blennies at all. Maybe I'll pass on the mystery wrasse then. I just want a good open water swimmer that's colorful and won't be a jerk. I like the coris wrasse a bit. Just trying to get colors I couldn't get in freshwater. Link to comment
