DaveFason
Like the title says, I was going with the WP10 on the new build and decided to go with something else. I am asking what I paid for them. Never used, only opened up. Blue propeller. $60 shipped. I have two. -Dave Link to comment

swivel
would this be too strong for my 8 gallon cube? Link to comment
NorthGaHillbilly
would this be too strong for my 8 gallon cube? with a 12 volt converter you could get it down to ~250 GPH, I think youd be fine, but it depends on how much flow your looking to get. I have ~2k GPH in my 20 and everything seems to be happy, YMMV Link to comment

Could that prematurely kill the thing, or is it safe to run like that? I'm considering buying one for a 12 gallon tank and am unsure if it will be too powerful at the stock low setting? Any tips on the 12 volt converter will be cool. Link to comment
celebrityovernight
I take it. Do you still have the wp10? Link to comment

I have run mine at 12 volt for ~20 hours off of a 12 volt battery, but run it at 24 volts normally. If you wanted to run one at 12 volts you are correct, all you will need is a 12 volt power supply, the brick that plugs into the wall. the plug is a standard sized connector, if you look around at your electronics I expect you will find several, I found three in my "box o plugs and such" Link to comment
