tdcsurfer
I just got 2 Da Vinchi clowns from two different places. They paired instantly, I think even while accuamaing the hour. Now, both are shimmering and huddling in the upper back corner of my tank. Is this even possible?! I'm not ready to breed! Do I need a fry tank now?! Omg! I'm not ready! My tank is only a month old. awpong
They're not getting ready to mate... the shivering is part of the pairing/bonding process. It will be a long time before they start mating, if they even do it at all. Don't worry about it. And if they do eventually start breeding, there is no reason why you need to attempt to raise the fry, unless you want to. Most people just let the fry get eaten. It may sound harsh... but hey... free food! Link to comment
Tamberav
They are becoming a bonded pair but that doesn't mean they are breeding. Link to comment
