drfu
Im thinking of getting a rodi unit so i don't have to buy water anymore for mixing salt but am running into install issues, another topic, but my question is this: Can i use the waste water in my fw tropical community tank? I have read a lot on this with mixed opinions on this. I may have to install the unit in my garage where i don't have a drain, was thinking of having the waste water go into a 5 gallon bucket and use the water for my fw Link to comment
jestep
Should be fine for non sensitive fish. I wouldn't try it with discus or soft water fish, but I don't think it would be any issue for most fish. Also, works great for washing clothes and for watering plants. Laundry room is usually the best place because you have a drain, or can use directly in the washer. Link to comment
