found this small "frag" of red macro with fiery orange hues at my LFS last week....

hoping to see if anyone can confirm what I have is a type of Nemastoma....it's leaves are more bubbly than thin

Gorgeous picture.

I had Nemastoma emerge on diver collected Florida live rock. The growth form on your picture is different. Is it geletinous and slippery to the touch? Depending on light and other enviromental conditions, color and growth form can vary.

Thank you Patrick :)

Yes, it is definitely gelatinous and slippery.

It is currently housed in my nano tank under an AI Nano fixture set at 25%W, 40% B, and 40% RB.

Hahaha....sorry Speaker, just had this frag :(

I wish they had more or at least a larger portion. Lol

yes, pic is of actual frag :)

I had no fish or crabs in this tank, just a couple of snails and a lone Blood Shrimp....

Tank is predominantly my two Sunburst BTAs (clones) and Red Macro Algae with a few Blasto Wellsi mini colonies...

I will look forward to watching it grow into something more and more beautiful I hope :)

thanks again
