DanteGpico
First off, I do not want any one to take this the wrong way. I am extremely happy to see such active alive snails (including four hermits!!!), but it is too much!!! They are currently acclimating. I have a five gallon and this was my initial CUC that I ordered: 5 Dwarf Ceriths1 Nassarius2 Nerites I now have like 40 DCs, three nerites, one GIGANTIC, and two Ns, with a couple hitchiker ones. I cant supply them with this much algae and I havr no food because I did not plan on having a fish for a long while! I do not have anyone, and I mean it, to give them to. HELP!!! But please do not take it the wrong way I am extremely pleased with health of everything and the quality. Thank you very very much! P.S the hermits are awesome! They are tiny right now, but should I worry about them when they get bigger? Link to comment
slooye
You could give some to your local fish store they could even give you a discount on other things if your lucky. Link to comment

frankdontsurf
They will be fine. Feed your tank moderately once a week and run your lights it will be fine. Link to comment
frankdontsurf
Just read you have no food. Buy a couple of shrimps in your seafood dept at the grocery feed it in small pieces Link to comment
DanteGpico
I put a little under half of them. Some are really active. A couple of Nassariuses are running all over the tank. That kind of worries me because the others are actually dug in the sand. They are so cool to watch (mainly because other stuff is not in there but still)! The three hermits are moving but not alot. chswkt
I wouldn't worry. Feel fortunate that you have such a healthy clean up crew. If you see any die, take them out otherwise don't change anything. Link to comment

Do you have a pet store nearby that you can donate them to? IF not let me know and I can mail you a box to use to return them. Link to comment
Tamberav
Add a mantis shrimp, that will take care of them! Link to comment

ny300z
keep em all! some will die anyway. Or give some away to local reefers but yea John gives you so much, one time i filled my 4 gallon with a ton of extras he gave me and had a strictly CUC tank. Add a little food sometimes and they will stay alive. Link to comment
