Enchelycore808
Just made up some foam rock and i wanted to know what people were using to fix it to the aquarium? The tank is already established so if it were possible to use a super glue thatd be best. I dont think itll bond to the glass very well though. Ive read somewhere that the gorilla brand super glue would work but have not heard of anyone using it for this purpose. If worst comes to worst, I suppose I could break down the tank and siilicone it. Any suggestions? Link to comment
RK_tek
I think silicone is your best/only option. The foam is extremely buoyant and the super glue may even dissolve the foam. I don't know this for sure, just something you'd have to test. Link to comment
Enchelycore808
Guess I will test it out first. If I go with silicone, how long should I let it cure? Reason is I gonna move the corals to a holding tank but I don know how strong the light there will be so the faster the better. Link to comment
Mike Savage
On mine, which is 18" tall, I siliconed just the top edge and let it cure for 48 hours. I didn't have any fish though. Link to comment
