Tank will actually be here on Monday! Couldn't be happier about that since I have no class on Mondays. Going to be a great day! I see that Marine Depot is on this forum. Thanks again for shipping the tank so quickly!

Got some equipment in today! The surface skimmer hose doesn't fit right with the filter I have, so I might have to look for a fitting piece. It's connected, but it's not a perfect fit.

I went with USPS because it was $5 cheaper. It's just filter floss from InTank.

Really excited for these next 2 days. Going to the LFS tomorrow to get water and sand. Oh, and then live rock on Monday.

I know I get way too excited about this stuff, but UPS says the light will be here on Monday instead of Tuesday now! AHHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED.

I just checked out that light, looks pretty sweet. I'm jealous....no tank for me, at least another two weeks. I tried seeing if MD would swap for a low iron, but nope. I love getting new packages in the mail. I usually have something either form amazon or whatever weekly.

Today's the day! Tank is out for delivery. Little disappointed with UPS for my light, though. It's been 5 days and it still hasn't arrived in Florida from California, whereas the light got from Cali to Florida in 4 days. Maybe the truck broke down or something. Oh well.

My body is ready

Here we go!

I wonder what it could be...

Nicely wrapped

Passed the leak test

And we're wet! Got 10 pounds of live rock. Going to have an interesting rockscape. You will see ;)

Woke up to some signs of life (maybe not good life). I've seen 2 or 3 of these flatworms. I took them out.worm_zps5ca68812.jpg

Other than that the water is starting to clear up nicely. I get the light today and hopefully by tomorrow night we will have good visibility in the tank.

Let there be light! Pay no attention to the rocks. I haven't placed them in the spot I want them in yet because I still can't see clearly enough.

It was looking good this morning. Then our apartment complex lost power for an hour. Water is cloudy again. But I picked up a nice 4 pound rock just now and put it in the tank. I need to just leave the tank alone for a few days and let the water clear. Then I will arrange the rocks.

Woke up and the water was about 95% clear. Got home from class and did some cleaning. Got all of the dust off the glass and spent some time working on the rockscape. I really like how it turned out, granted it's not as impressive as some of the other scapes I've seen on here :P I'll post pics either tonight or tomorrow. Whenever the water is completely clear.
