vlangel
I read on a reef thread how useful these guys are as part of a CUC. They are no beauties but I kind of like the 'I'm so homely, I'm adorable' types so this guy is arriving Friday. I have some diatomous algae right now but when that is straightened away will he run out of food? My tank is a 36g with a DSB. I'm hoping I won't have to lend him out to friend's tanks so he doesn't starve. He is suppose to be 1" long or so. Any insight you can give me on him would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Arkayology
I would think that the cucumber would deplete the sand of a tank your size of detritus/microalgae/bacteria/critters quickly and begin to starve. Link to comment

Are there any commercial foods that he could be fed, like frozen seaweed or emerald entree? Link to comment
