Snow_Phoenix
My duster worm hasn't peeked out of his tube since morning. I'm a bit concerned. The only changes were a 25% water change and the switching of the usual Marinium brand of sea salt to the regular Red Sea sea salt again. Parameters are ammonia and nitrite = 0ppm, nitrate at 10ppm, phosphate at 0.25ppm, Mg at 1320ppm, Calcium at 580ppm, dKH at 7.6ppm, and SG at 1.025. I realize the parameters aren't perfect, but believe me when I say it was worse before the water change. Nitrates and phosphates were exceptionally high prior to the WC, but the duster was wide open and active. After WC = unhappy and retracted duster. Any suggestions on what to do, or do I leave him be? Ibuyen
I would leave him be. My dusters do this from time to time. Perfectly normal to see this. Few of mine have lost crowns and stayed this way for week. You see them come out here and there to eat. Pretty sweet seeing them grow back feathers one by one. Link to comment
