Some older macro work, and starting newer work

Recommended Posts

These are kinda old shot from a d40 using lens reversal and natural lighting, ie 30 second exposures or longer for most of them. I am actually planning on doing more photography work soon so I will probably post some updates here n there in this thread.
Also, cropping and exposure was the only sort of photoshop done with these, the images inside the bubbles is a refraction image caused by what was placed behind the bubble. The camera pic is a pic of me upside down about 2 inches behind the bubble. For a size scale, the pill bottle refraction is a water droplet on the head of a 1 inch pin with a plastic ball on one end. Lots of magnification.

started a 365 photo project using one camera and one lens exclusively. Here was this afternoons shot I can find some aspects I really like in it. Technically it could be better I will have to play around with this some more.

Congrats! Nice pics!

Congratulations on your new baby!

thanks for the congrats he has been a breeze compared to my other little boy when he was a newborn. Amazing how siblings can be so different.

My third baby was the worst as far as babies go. Mine progressively got worse from the first to the third. lol. Good to hear he's a good baby, makes life a lot easier. :)
