I need your help to see what I need to get for my diy build.. how many lumia 5.2 I need to get to cover an area of 30'? With height from waterlevel to led is around 8' Link to comment
jedimasterben Posted February 20, 2014 Share Posted February 20, 2014 You'll need four of the 5.2 to cover that area. 10 LDD, two Coralux boards, and a Storm or Storm X. You could also do it with five MakersDrivers and the Makerscontroller if you want a more finished-looking product that's a bit more 'idiotproof' if you will, but the Storm controllers are superior. And I don't think that I would use the power supplies from LGB. I would suggest purchasing a Meanwell HLG-320H-48 - cost is arond $30 more than the 500w power supply you'd need from LGB, but the quality is superior and the unit is IP67 rated. Link to comment
