Please share your settings on your Storm controller, tank size/style and even a photo or two. This will only help people out and give insight to what others are running.

White: 90

Blue: 130

Can someone explain to me what the ramp delay does? I haven't touched it.

It delays a channel(s) for a certain amount of time. So you can have your whites kick on and then your blues will turn on whenever you set the delay to (or any other channel for that matter). So if your lights come on a 8:00am, and you delay your blue channel 30 minutes, the blues won't come on until 8:30am.

Greg nailed it. The ramp delay, delays that channel for an extended period of time. What most people will do is put a delay on the white channel to have the blues come on first.

This thread is already being useful. Keep them coming!

One more question...

If I want to make it look more blue when the cloud covers, what do I set the cloud channels to?

I tried a few things and got some interesting results.

Pretty curious as to why most people with a nanobox have their blue settings higher than their white levels? Personally I have been setting my whites almost double to the blues as I feel that it gives a more natural look, correct me if I'm wrong though. Currently I have had the light above my tank for about a week and am waiting for a diatom bloom so I can get a CUC in my tank. Who knows though maybe I will crank my blues higher once I start getting stuff in my tank, but I would love to hear some reasoning behind the idea of having a higher blue setting.
