h2o2 dip

tetraodon

So I recently fragged some coral zoas, white star polyps, and such, some of the frags have algae growing on them: hair, razor chapurla, red algae. I was wondering if they would be ok in h2o2 dip before I sell?

to be honest you should cure them before you sell really thats the case

post pics we can forsee what w happen

should be easy fix as most you listed are p tolerant. consider that fresh fragging and peroxiding isn't the same as peroxiding a coral thats 10 months established and growing...kind of a double stressor but still doable I think. need pics

Well they where fragged about 2 weeks ago, the zoas are fully opening and I saw a new head on one of the frags, the white stars are a little pissy but they open fpr the most part

I reluctantly did a peroxide dip on a large zoa colony that was in bad shape after shipping. It was covered in a white fungus, smelled horrible, and polyps were melting fast. To me, peroxide seems a bit extreme and was my last resort. The polyps werent happy for the first few days after the dip but a couple of weeks later they were the healthiest looking zoas in the tank. I'm sold on peroxide dips now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea for freshly fragged zoas.

what was the mix of h202 to water and how long did you dip for?
