Spiderguardnano
Ive been trying to decide on some lights for the last 3 months now and I've narrowed it down to these 2 I've seen amazing tanks with each of these lights over them if you guys could help me make this decision a little easier that would be great some pros and cons please Link to comment
rfalk
Details on tank and what you want to keep/achieve. Link to comment
Fnard
Box that sheeeeet man. Customization. Better customer service. Better looking. Depending on your tank size, prolly helluva lot cheaper too. Also, everyone will love your thread if it has nanobox in it Link to comment
Spiderguardnano
the tank will be a mr aqua 25 cube i was planning on some lps and sps corals what do you think? Details on tank and what you want to keep/achieve. Link to comment
DCUEVAS74
I have a 36" that Dave did for me and have zero regrets. I've just set up a smaller Mr Aqua cube at work and have another on the way! Link to comment
Arkayology
Both are good options. I know some people hate on ecotech sometimes (me included), but their product is cool and I like the ability to make elaborate programs with it. The nanoboxs are also really good fixtures, likely will have better LEDs (I am told), are cheaper, and can get you to the same end result as the radion. Link to comment
gnatster
Nanobox, support the small entrepreneur. Pro: Dave can do about anything you ask with the light set. Con: Custom takes time, Link to comment
Dramad1
I have 2 nanobox units, duo & tide. No regrets here and Dave has awesome customer service. Plus you can customize the nanobox to your liking right down to the paint. Link to comment
El Porker
I went with a duo 24 for my PicO. Should get it in a couple days. Dave has been a pleasure to work with and does a good job of keeping me updated. Nothing against "the other light" but being able to correspond with the manufacturer directly is nice. Link to comment
basser1
Nanobox, support the small entrepreneur. Pro: Dave can do about anything you ask with the light set. Con: Custom takes time, Both points are true.. While I don't own a Nano-Box unit, I did have Dave do a retro-fit in my BC29 hood and I couldn't be more pleased. I saw more colors than with my old MH/PC combo and I can keep SPS, LPS, Softies, you name it. Link to comment
gsgentry
Nano Box!!! Dave can do custom sizes, colors, options, etc. You can't get that from Ecotech. Link to comment
Horerczy
Nano box. Between led selection, customization, customer service, and cost. Dave has radion beat nine ways to Sunday. The only con with Dave's fixtures is wait time because everything is BTO. Link to comment
VABumpkin
two words.... WARM WHITE! Link to comment
Nanofreak79
I've had Dave build me a tide fixture, and the wait sucked but the product was second to none. Oh, and I also have a G3 which I love too Link to comment

rfalk
Yeah I have a nanobox mini and its great in all aspects. I went with a plain white one but the customization he can do is really incredible and sets him apart from everyone else. I am pretty sure I am going to use 2 duals on a 80 gallon tank (if the wife lets me set it up lol). Link to comment
Livewreck
I've no experience with Radion, but since I got my Nano Box Mini Tide, my corals are growing nicely, the tank looks great, my hair is thicker, I smell better, and I have gotten more dates with beautiful women than I ever did before! Cycleguy0623
I just went through the same decision really. Dave did a custom T5 LED Hybrid for my new tank build. The service has been awesome! Link to comment
jolee0722
Don't forget about the bluefisb controller built into the already good price. Don't have to buy anything extra like a reeflink. Link to comment
lostsol95
Just ordered a Storm Trooper themed Tide Plus M, can't wait to receive it! Link to comment
Mustang Boy
I ordered a pair of duos for my new 90g I'm setting up and I can't wait to get home from vacation because they arrived while I was gone, I also have a 12in beam that I will be running over my display fuge. As they said with customization, Dave was able to wire all 3 lights to the same control box and all 3 will be powered by 1 power cord which is freaking awesome. Link to comment
