Jackal_Knight
^^ that pretty much. i never had a turbo but I've always have this problem netrites. i would just toss them back in every morning till i lost them all. now i just have one thats smart enough to stay in the tank. Link to comment
BattleAthletics
Just pull them out gently and put them back in the tank. If this keeps going on a mesh lid would, or should fix that. Link to comment
owk688
okay let see how it goes.... i was wondering for so long how can the water drip on my table.... now i know..... it was the turbo Link to comment
Rollermonkey
Rimmed tank, lid, mesh top, tank hood... All work. I guess it's just something you deal with if you want that clean, rimless look? Although, with as many things you have hanging off and sticking up everywhere, that's not what you're after! Link to comment
Kellie in CA
My snails were just doing the same thing, but climbing down the outside of the tank. For how small they are, they sure can grip that wall tight! Link to comment

This will help me to cut down the hanging water bottle. When you say hanging stuff i think one is my refugium , gravity feed water bottol and also my light? Link to comment

Mike Savage
Definitely Trochus snails and mine do try to climb out too but I have a screen top on one tank and a glass top on the other. Link to comment
owk688
This two seem know their boundary. Use to have 3 of them but one committee suicide. Link to comment
Boggers
looks like Astraea snail to me, but all above is correct they will keep doing this without a lid/mesh. I just pulled 3 from my overflow last night. Link to comment
DC5
My turbo snails will eventually end up on my nano cover feeding lid, so thankfully they can't get out but they clearly would if that wasn't there. Even better was when I had a big blue hermit climb out of my sump (he was in there for timeout because he was killing my snails). I heard my rat terrier in the living room going nuts over something, and when I came around the corner, the hermit crab and the dog were squared off in mortal combat in the middle of the floor...pretty funny.
