Geppetto
Really nice rics! I cant find any nice ones local and I hate paying transit from the online dealers. The extra $40 always kills the deal for me. Where in SoCal are you located? Maybe next time your order we can dutch shipping rates. Quote Link to comment
RickNation
i paid $15 for each at my LFS 3 Quote Link to comment
xcom
It's late and I have many pictures to go through. So, here's a random shot of my rics. I'll add more later, including a FTS. That ric at the right corner.... Quote Link to comment
Red_Blenny
Very nice Thanks! Really nice rics! I cant find any nice ones local and I hate paying transit from the online dealers. The extra $40 always kills the deal for me. Where in SoCal are you located? Maybe next time your order we can dutch shipping rates. I got them from an LFS that was closing down (Socal Tropical Fish at Fullerton), some of them from a fellow reefer, and the rest was from Cherry Corals. R. Floridas are hard to find here in socal. The only LFS I know that has some is in Anaheim (Reef Lounge). I haven't tried other venders that sell rics, like Aquascapers, Reef Gardner, or Salt Critters. i paid $15 for each at my LFS Nice deal. They go about $15-25 here in Socal. I like that yellow one, they're hard to find. That ric at the right corner.... Yea, that one is one of my favorite. He gets BIG when all of my T5s turn on and gets even bigger when I turn off my pumps. Here's a WYSIWYG pic from Cherry Corals: 2 Quote Link to comment

timothymarsh
Those zoanthids are looking awesome. You must have the conditions dialed in to exactly where they like it. I feel like T5 systems have happier zoas, LED's tend to be a bit too much. Great job! Quote Link to comment
xcom
There are some nice rics in your tank! My LFS sometimes has rare color ones, I have seen those on Cherry Corals but I was skeptical about their accuracy, the photo always seems too saturated or under crazy blue lighting. If you ever frag any, hehehe 1 Quote Link to comment
Geppetto
Awesome collection of Rics! That Rhodactis is really nice as well. Quote Link to comment

I feel like T5 systems have happier zoas, LED's tend to be a bit too much. Great job! Heh, in the beginning, zoas were pretty hard to keep imo. 8/10 times, I could never successfully keep any single polyp frags (hence, I tend to op for like 3-4 polyp frags). In addition, it was quite hard for me to find the right placement for them (flow and all). If anything, having T5s preventing me from overbleaching them (a common thing, especially if you're new to LEDs). There are some nice rics in your tank! If you ever frag any, hehehe Which LFS do you go to? The LFS I go to rarely have any rics. Yea, I was worried initially if Cherry overshopped the pics but I took a gamble and it looks like they're pretty close to the actual pics. Heck, if I have extra babies, we can trade one day. Awesome collection of Rics! That Rhodactis is really nice as well. Thanks! My gf really wanted me to order that Rhodactis and we're both very happy with it. Quote Link to comment

Red_Blenny
Nice rics. Those sps need to go! Lol haven't seen ya around for awhile. I only see some of your FS post at the local reef fourm (and your last post made me go 'hmmmmmmmmmm'). And as hard and touchy SPS are, I love 'em. It's just that keeping a bunch of them in a small tiny tank while school takes up most of your time = bad idea. If anything, I'm still on the hunt for that one last acro to add into my tank lol. 1 Quote Link to comment

Illuiix
I knew you couldn't last a year without a tank Yup, you were right lol. Well, at least I managed to reefless for almost 1/2 yr. 1 Quote Link to comment
Red_Blenny
Yup, you were right lol. Well, at least I managed to reefless for almost 1/2 yr. Just set up that 16gal. Practically low maintenance if you just setup those jawbreakers. 1 Quote Link to comment
Illuiix
Well I'm not exactly sure if I'm going to buy jawbreakers...I'll be doing lps and softies. Yeah I'm setting the 16g soon. 1 Quote Link to comment

That's a good combo. Sounds like something you did with your 12.5gal tank. Your Ricordia's are absolutely beautiful. I'm very envious! Thanks! 1 Quote Link to comment
