Hi Guys,

I am getting ready to place a pretty big order... for my 265g tank. it's 84x30 24" high.

I was thinking of getting 5 units, placing each one on a 6" heat sink, does that one come with the fan by the way?

currently I got a 48v 7.2amp 350 watt power supply. would one be able to drive all 5? also can i put two chips on one driver since each channel only draws 18v max?

The 5.2 won't cover a 30" width. Ideally you'd need two rows of them, or supplement with other LEDs along the front and back.

Yep I know, I want to try to keep the the aquarium sides on the dimmer side. I will most likely add supplemental LEDs if I decide to place corals closer

To be honest, without a lens and at 30" depth, PAR is going to be fairly low on-axis (the Lumia 5.1 does around 90 PAR at 24" depth on-axis without a lens). As you start moving off-axis, it will get lower very quickly.

I actually tried out the 80degree lens with the 5.1, it broke out the lights, each corner of the tank had a different color, was i doing something wrong?

The tank depth is 24", planning to place the chip about 12" above the water.
