Arce's Tank

Nah, power head and mildly warm water, it mixes well.

I've only used BRS. ESV has a good reputation and their 2 part has trace elements that are proprietary. RHF talked about it in one of his recent posts.

i think.

I may try some ESV.. I just googled the red sea thing, and most people say past a certain point it wont dissolve, which makes sense. So it would never be able to reach the stock liquid solution.

Response from Red Sea "Foundation B from stock solution is only a third of the strength of our liquid Foundation B so, 1ml per 25 gallons increases the dKH by 0.034, you will need 3ml per 25 gallons to increase the dKH by 0.1."

This piece has grown a good amount in just a month, about an inch on each branch.

Bonsai, fully regaining color. Just wish it would stop encrusting and grow vertically...

Still trying to figure this out.. Maybe a nice gorg sitting infront of it on the bottom? Cant think of anything else.

Timer timer timer timer. :)

I can't stand anything float based.

I may temporarily put a timer on it so that it resets itself. Its about time to get a new top off.

Not sure how expandable the RKL is but I use my Apex to do timed topoff in both my 150 and 29 gallon. Best investment made IMO since I expanded it with more outlets and now completely control both tanks with it.

Im actually afaid of doing a times top off. My tanks in my basement which is freezing when the air isnt on then when we crank it up its a sauna so i doubt my evap can be controlled through a timed top off. Id feel safer with a float or sensor. The tunze i have is over 2 years old now... And i did splash water on the electrical control box thing by accident back in the day. Soooo its seen its share and its time to replace.

Even though a timed top off would be less expensive, pretty much the cost of an aqualifter. I cant do it. But i do need to find a cheaper solution as im strapped for cash at the moment.

Man Arce, you have stocked your tank to the gills! Nice progress!

I'm thinking that went for an SPS dominated tank. Less problems like that.
