jbb
It is looking like the return pump will be plenty of flow for anything I decide to put in the tank. I have it on the lowest setting now and I am seeing ZERO dead spots . I'm hoping to keep all equipment out of the display (YES EVEN VORTECHS) Link to comment

jbb
Ok so, I was wanting to build a media rack to fit in my sump , but my baffles arent what normal prople would consider square so it would make it difficult to build a rack that would work properly. Well I just so happen to have this NextReef SMR1 reactor sitting around doing nothing (from a previous tank), so I thought why not use the reactor as a filtration chamber / water change device. So my plan will be to run floss , carbon , purigen , or whatever media I need to run in the reactor , and just empty / refill it for water changes. I think this will work out pretty well. Now to just set it up. Link to comment

Passaggper
Sweet! Black sand doesn't normally appeal to me but it looks damn good here. Also, how did you configure your PicO as a sump? I have a 5 gallon PicO I might consider using as one. Link to comment
