amored
so i got a DD cultured crocea clam a little over a week ago. it is very happy and showing no signs of stress but when i turkey baste my rocks as part of weekly maintenance, i notice that some sand always seems to get in the intake siphon. i know this is bad for croceas but i don't know what to do. i try to make it close up before-hand but it never stays closed very long. i also tried turning it upside down (under water) to see if the sand would fall out, but no such luck. whaddya think? imminent death?
