This tank doesn't seem very nano to me but it's beautiful to say the least

Thanks. Definitely not a nano tank, but I still wanted to be part of this nano forum :) Very good info on these boards. SPS in a nano tank is a much more delicate balance. Big tanks are easy

That's why I wanna go big next time. At least 125g. Even in 65g stuff swings so fast. I'm thinking 6x2x2' that'd be a cool tank. ;)

Water params don't fluctuate as much in a huge tank that's for sure. And also, I've been a member on these boards for awhile now and every day has been worth it so I don't blame you!

Kat I am working on your needs ;)

Pretty sure this is the same one. Out of stock at the moment, but might come back. Perhaps worth and inquiry.

That's a different coral, but wow that's a sick milli. The coral that I have is more along the lines of a tenuis. It has been grown from a small frag with solid blue coloration as you would see in a tenuis. After starting my current tank it morphed into what you see now. There is a thread that I started to log the growth and color change of this piece on R2R

Yep. I actually did have nanos over the last few years, that's how I initially became a member :)

Yeah, I was wondering about that. The UC piece almost looks a bit more like a prostrata than a milli.

The tank will be 1 year old at the end of the month. I'll post some pics and an update video. I have to clean things up a little first :) haha.

Happy birthday tank. Right?

Yes kat, thanks for remembering. Women are always better at remembering birthdays :) I plan on posting a lot of update pics later, maybe a video.

Thanks Hype

That ''no name'' coral looks too good! Defiantly going on the ''must buy'' list. All of your tanks look amazing

This coral is a PITA. I lost a little color do to a nutrient spike, but I'm getting back the same colors again. It's always the nice stuff that can be fickle :)

I didn't have time to take SLR pics but I too a quick video with my iPhone.

Today is the one year anniversary of this reef. I am very pleased the way things are progressing. At the moment my nutrients are still a bit high due to a broken skimmer pump, but I'm getting things back in the balance that I prefer. I am slowly removing corals to reduce clutter and allow or more growth + flow. Excuse the frag rack, I am coloring up a batch of those rainbow tenuis frags before I ship them.
PS I didn't forget yours Kat :) I should have one for your sometime this winter.
Here's a video from today

And a pic from today. Some corals have been moved and changed since then, but you can see the growth for the most part.
