Found cheap algae scrubber light,

Would this light be suitable for a small scrubber. It uses Epistar leds 660nm red and 445nm blue

I figured I would remove the optics to get better spread.

 

Also I using 17 watt spiral cfl which gives me ok growth but Ive seen with led you get crazy growth. Do you guys think this led would work better than the cfl?

That will light a very small scrubber screen, probably only up to 4"x4".

Ha ok, well it is only 4 dollars so I wont expect much. Not a big loss if it doesn't work. Thanks for your input.

It's not that it's four dollars - it's four dollars and a month to get shipped from China. Buy a bunch and be prepared to swap them out often.
