What I got so far... 55 GALLON DEEPBLUE REEF READY TANK- BACK IS PAINTED BLACK AS WITH THE CORNER OVERFLOW OUTSIDE LOOKS SHARP, I GOT IT ON CRAIGSLIST BRAND NEW FOR 100 BUCKS! STAND OAK CRAIGSLIST- 60.00 PROFLEX MODEL 2 SUMP HEATER REEF OCTOPUS SS10000 PROTEIN SKIMMER MP10 W/ BATTERY BACK UP FROM MY OTHER TANK, BUT I MIGHT GO WITH A WP20 NOT SURE YET. NEW MAXSPECT 300W RAZOR SHOULD BE HERE IN 2 WEEKS 35 POUNDS PUKANI ROCK FROM BULKREEF SUPPLY EHEIM COMPACT 3000 RETURN PUMP So pretty good list?? jkaese Posted January 17, 2014 Author Share Posted January 17, 2014 Some updated pics, finally got my reef octopus skimmer tuned in, i was unaware that it needed to be raised in order to keep the water level constant in the skimmer compartment. So I rigged a little shelf made of egg crate light diffuser. Hope to be transfering all my corals in the next couple weeks but i need to see how the cycle goes, don't want to push mother nature too fast. So far I am super impressed by this new maxspect pics don't do it justice as well as the skimmer- coral vue is amazing as well as there costumer service. Link to comment

jkaese Posted May 24, 2014 Author Share Posted May 24, 2014 Ok so many new changes since I started this 55, well now it's a 75 lol, I found a 75 with a custom over flow drilled that I picked up for 60 bucks, so I could not refuse the offer. Well here it is, I recently sold my mp10 and switched to the jabeo WP25 w/ the twins controller and have not looked back. So far so good, I am done upgrading this project of switching over everything was a huge pain in the butt i didn't lose anything but def more stress than what I was planning on dealing with. Mostly is was a plumbing issue, I really only needed to put a ball vale inline w/ my return but that only took a few hours to figure out. I will be posting lots of pics I have some really nice zoas in here, my goal is to make this a zoa dominated tank. Happy reefing! Link to comment
