Clam attached to side of tank.

I recently purchased my Maxima and placed it in the sand with a flat plug under it to let is acclimate to its new environment. Well it has walked over to the side of the tank and placed it foot about one inch below the substrate and attached to the front of the tank. Should I be concerned for any reason? Thx.

I hope so.... its current location makes it hard to see so that's a bummer
