Mmm I'm still not seeing what's so awesome about scolies. I dig all the other meaty corals but scolies are my least fav for some reason.

Kinda regret buying the 3rd one....I shouldn't have and I should have used another $70 for the bleeding apple in this picture.

It was about 3.5" and the shape was perfectly round.(More value)

Mmm, it would probably be better for you to ask reef2reef.com since there are more scoly fans there, much more. I happen to be the only scoly fan here, presumption-wise.

You remember ptboy?? His friend seems to be a huge huge scoly fanatic since he bought the $1250 scolymia from sexycorals over at reef2reef. And another guy recently bought the $1200 master scoly from Cornbred, also on reef2reef. Maybe they can help you understand more about the love for scolys?? Lol

Here are the links for the over 1k interesting buys of scolys lol

For me, I wouldn't want to spend anything above $500 for a scolymia but seems like there are some people on reef2reef more fanatic about scolys than I am.

I mean, if you would like my opinion, I would say I love the patterns, shapes and size that it comes with. Meat corals share about the same resemblance, but there's just something more about scolys that I like more. But definitely, I would say I like meat corals more than zoas, palys or plate corals just because it's similar to scolys.

Crap photo of a new bleeding apple that's been in the tank for about a week. It is seriously bright in real life. I've got 2 tiny Scolies, one of which is half melted from a bastard of an Acan Echinata, and apart from the Acan attack they seem to be going well so I thought I'd push the boat out on my first proper Scoly and I'm pretty happy with this one.
