Stuff is moved!

Will definitely have to add a bunch more LR at some point, but that can probably wait until Saturday.

Finally got going on the saltwater project, thank you to this site and inspiration from Lalani's build for encouraging another money pit!

Mwahahaha! This is a better money pit than say... hookers and blow (though some would argue that point)!

Looking forward to seeing this tank set up. :)

Also, you can post pics in the thread if you host them through photobucket or imageshack and copy/paste the IMG code!

Looking to get it wet this week, LR is on sale so now is the time to strike. Failing that, LR made out of blow...? ;)

Also, to the photobucketmobile!

Thanks! :)

the current plan is soft corals and perhaps a clown... doing my absolute best to go as slowly as possible, so likely no more additions for the next couple of weeks while the snails and hermits do their thing.

quick update:

ammonia: 0

nitrite: 0

salinity: 1.025

temp: 80-81.5F

i've noticed about 500ml of evaporation a day, not too bad i guess.

This needs an update... but first I need to scrape the glass... :D

In other news, thinking of retrofitting a sump/fuge. 5.5gal is probably the biggest I can get inside the stand, so the real question becomes: is it worth it? or should I just leave the AC70 to do its thing. (I think i saw a micro star in there! <3)

almost a full year later... went to Italy in august and my brother watched the fish. In that time the frogspawn fell over onto its heads and died, and the zoas got eaten or melted. Brittle stars everywhere, and a colony of dusters that are getting thick. Otherwise no worse for the wear.

Picked up a nuvo 30 for cheap a few months ago, I guess this is a good time to upgrade. will be attempting to buff out some scratches and get it going fairly soon. stand is almost done, just need to cut/attach the top and paint it..

No, my basement is not done yet. :P
