Nano sapiens
All I can say is.... Thank you, Christine Gorgeous ric tank, very well done, congrats! Thank you, Lalani! The original intention was more of a 'mixed reef' with a modest little Ric garden, but looks like the Rics have taken center stage Link to comment

gena
Gorgeous tank and so expertly maintained. I forgot this was a 5 year old tank. It looks so clean and I see why...your dedicated maintenance routine. Very impressive tank. Congrats!!!! Link to comment
Egginis
Congratulations! I hope my ricordia grow as large and vibrant as the ones you have in your aquarium. The tank is immaculate, and really does represent the time and effort you put in on a regular basis. Keep it up, we owe it to the livestock that come to live in our aquariums. Link to comment
Nano sapiens
Thank you. I have never had Rics grow to 6" across before, which can be a bit much to handle in a 12g, but I hope yours do just as well. The funny thing is, the maintenance is really not that time consuming. I typically spent 15 min on Wed for a WC and around an hour on Sat or Sun for WC, vacuuming and glass cleaning. In between, there's lots of time to enjoy the tank I'm of a similar opinion that when we acquire these animals that we do our best to keep them going strong. Two of the Ric color types have been in my custody for over 13 years, so who knows how old they really are. The Blue Discosoma Mushrooms are from stock that I've had for over 15 years.
