Ok a few more pics. Pukani rock in, now with Dinoflaggellete coating. Still need to add sand. Apex working nicely, need to actually figure out where to plug things into. Get the fuge lights to come on at night.

Hot days, tank hovers around 85, I was hoping to avoid a chiller.

Stand side ways and with a hand stand.

Now time to decided on corals.

I was thinking of ORA red planet (Acropora anthocercis), Green, Pink and purple Stylophora picillata and maybe a couple of Acropora millepora variations. Then wanted to add a few Monipora species.

My other thread was hi-jacked.

Accused of having horrible water quality and unstable water parameters, got me thinking, I should go a week with checking parameters on daily, or almost daily basis and see trend. Lots of new frags that have just started encrusting.

I could also to a non-linerar growth curve and plot the alkalinity, calcium, magnesium consumption.

The Paletta pink tip lost most of the color. Also an ascending necrosis, stopped with a quick dip and frag. Doing ok so far, hopefully he will make it.

It is a really nice tank and built.

Return pump could have been a bit more powerful.

The sump inflow tube is a bit stiff and troublesome to direct into sump inflow compartment.

Really nice tank and build quality.

Impressed with the skimmer. Maybe works a little too well.

post-64561-0-16830600-1393857126_thumb.jpg post-64561-0-69318000-1393857126_thumb.jpg

After only one day of skimming, set to the lowest water level. Otherwise shoots out!!

Need to clean up a bit, add macroalgea to the middle compartment and get a filter sock, plus holder to polish the water, my LFS did not have one and I keep forgetting to order one.

Neptune automatic fish feeder arrive in Dallas today, unfortunately because of no bad weather, it has not left the UPS warehouse.

Need to figure out how to program a feeding time, without my sump overflowing when I shut off the main return pump.
