Roshan8768
Is the white thing on your rock work the LTA....if so it looks like it's really bleached out, try and feed it meaty pieces of fish or shrimp once a day. If you don't, it probably won't last much longer Oh, and tank looks good btw!! Link to comment
pgrVII
Yea it was bleached out when I traded for it. Mouth it closed tight and has been taking food when offered. My peppermint shrimp cleans it pretty good too. Thanks btw! Well as of today I added ten lbs.of sand as my water changes have dwindled it lol. Waters cloudy Also... Soon to be upgrading lighting to ecoxotic pro panorama LED. Seems like they can support light lovers and allow use of my cubes hood, which is great cause I love the hood and it also keeps the floating dog hair out from my Pembroke Corgi and Rottweiler. Roshan8768
I have a purple LTA in my tank, and I used to have a blood red fire shrimp in there with it... next time you feed your anemone you may want to stick around and wait to see if the shrimp is stealing its food. Mine was a total hog, so I ended up having to cover the anemone with a small glass for a couple of minutes while it ate.... I've also noticed that it doesn't really care for brine or mysis, really prefers larger pieces of food closer to fingernail size. Haha yeah I bet it would look better without the hair in the water, and yeah it's a real art to gravel vac in tanks without sand Link to comment
pgrVII
Nah im usually always around my tank at home the shrimp usually just takes any scraps any or form.1 pellets that may have fallen in his tentacles. My Condy anemone was the same when I got it but after a few weeks it colored up no prob Link to comment
Roshan8768
Good luck man, wonder what color it'll be when it comes around? Here's mine, probably around the same size http://s1303.photobucket.com/user/Roshan8768/media/temporary_zps80d479b6.jpg.html'> Link to comment

pgrVII
No major updates but my anemone is getting a nice cinnamon red(ish) color now. And my clowns are now kind of particular about the wrasse being around the anemone, however they aren't really tending the nem their selves. Should have some updated pics this evening. Link to comment
Roshan8768
Nice work on the nem!! Post pics!!! My LTA bleached out a bit while I was on vacation, so I'm feeding every other day again to get it to color back up faster. Link to comment

I've never had much luck with them, but I believe that one is supposed to be one of the easier color morphs Thanks yea we pick the Radioactive dragons eye just for that reason. Easy color spread got alot of empty rock lol So I've finally got it down for upgrades. Gonna take a lil bit of time but here goes. Nothing crazy or major really: -steves led kit with typhoon controller. -intank media basket -cad lights pls 50 skimmer. I think this will tidy my tank up a good bit. What do you think? He even survived a 8-9day period of just using a desk lamp while my lights were being worked on. Thanks for the compliment Roshan! How's yours doing? Not too well actually, I don't think it likes all the flow in my tank so it's hiding in the back where there's the least (comparatively). It's a pain to reach, but when I can get back there I'll be pulling it out and giving it to somebody who has a better setup for it. My BTAS are doing well though! Do you have any other coral in there? And is it just the clowns for fish? Link to comment
pgrVII
Yea sounds maybe like the flow glad the btas are happy happy happy. I have a large leather coral,a smaller leather coral that hitch hiked on a rock, some radioactive dragons eyes, and a spongodes sps coral. As for fish I have a sixline wrasse, and a starry dragonet trained to eat pellet and frozen food. Link to comment

pgrVII
Added a new skimmer to tank. My reef octopus stopped working. I opted for the aqua euro nano II. Seems to be doing a good job after some adjusting and running for about a week or so now. Also added a pocillopora coral a week ago. Link to comment
