As both a hobbyist and entrepreneur, I understand both sides of shipping. Let me be brief and to the point. #1 When you purchase online, you by choice select a service that brings an item to your doorstep! That shipping cost is not controlled by any online vendor! The only way around this price in shipping is to find an online vendor that is massive and purchases in bulk and has slightly better negotiated rates with the shipping company! #2 Do not support online E-commerce! You can get your light from your LFS and on the way purchase more gas/oil maybe some Starbucks and a few turbo snails! Your time is also taken away, a factor many disregard from shipping! Either way you are still spending! Please shop better online and re-frame from attacking us sponsors with something we cannot control! We are here to service you and bring you products to your home! I went to UPS tracking and entered my tracking number that I was given, did not exist. So I went to USPS tracking and found that it was shipped USPS. This is very upsetting because I was expecting the pumps this week, much needed for my tank, but know I have found out that I will not receive the parts until July 19th. Once again, this is very disappointing to have this happen to me. what are you as a company going to do to compensate me for this mistake. my fish may die. I would like to be compensated either a credit from your website for further orders and free shipping on next order. below I will supply you with your companies exact shipping words in my invoice e-mail. When your website stated that I would receive free shipping if I spent $150.00+ and thats the only reason I ordered extra of everything Ordered late Thursday night, shipped Friday morning July 12th. Oh the horror. To this customer's rural far away location USPS was much cheaper with the same delivery time frame. We don't make this switch often, but when we are paying for the shipping, we get to choose, no? Last I checked July 19th is this week.
