Possible upgrades: Two neotherm heaters, Vortech pumps and some new plumbing but before all that I may upgrade the stand to something sturdier.

Here's my 40B Build Thread. I still need to get the stand skinned. So I can start my macro in my sump. Its a work in progress as well as my first tank.

I like the minimalistic tanks. I like seeing sand real estate.

^While I'm not a fan of that scape I'm betting it'll look pretty awesome once it's all grown in. It kind of reminds me of an overpass lol.

I tried to rescape and it looked like total crap. So I went back to this one even though I wasnt 100% happy. It looked okay to me. Kinda hoping the same thing lol. Once it grows in it should look better. All my fish like the over hangs though. Especially the mandarins.

How do you like the reef breeders value fixture??? I'm looking at this for my upcoming build... How did you decide on the 120 degree optics?

I know this question wasn't for me but I use the value fixture too. Works great. 120 degree because you will need the spread since the fixture is only 16 inches long over a 36inch long tank. Otherwise you would have to hang it way high to get some spread.

Thanks for the input, think this is the light fixture I'm going to end up going with!

I've always wanted a peninsula tank, but my room is just too small! :(

I love my peninsula tank! I sold one of my couches just to make room so I could set it up again... Its going to look epic when I have that small island on the right completely covered in zoas and pallys.
