Right after removing the fuge and adding cramming this big sob in there, it's a tight fit.

BTW Nooze, how high is your light above the water line? I've been thinking of trying to use only one Hydra but I'm not sure how it'll look. I got away with a single DIY fixture on my 40 a while ago, but it was pretty high above the tank.

I am still battling some algae - Currently started peroxide treatment on specific rocks and tank dosing about a week ago. Going to continue on with this as the only damage appears to be to my pod population so far. And that is the least of my concerns. A lot of free floating algae has been getting clogged up around my overflow pipe - which is a good sign

I really need an oversized stand and get a bigger sump.

I agree I wish I went 6" Taller on my stand and 6" wider. :)

I just bought a 36x14x16 acrylic sump, it needs some work i.e I need to fix a crack at the top, patch the holes since it was made for an external pump and put in baffles but it was $15

Heck of a steal for the sump! Nice!

I'm pretty happy with my 29 right now. Just wish my stand was a little taller to have more arm room above the sump. Getting the skimmer in and out for cleaning is a little interesting but otherwise its fine IMO.

Everything looks great with the Radions. Awesome colors.

How far off the water are they set and whats your intensity? What Gen?

Interested because I will be running one Radion (Gen 1 w. TIR leses)

Link to comment

Oh thanks! Color improved after I dialed things back.

Currently using two Radion Gen 1 with no lens. Both are about 5" above the waterline with eggcrate cover on the tank. I have it at ramping up to 40% intensity at "high noon".

Yeah... I'm sorta think I went overboard, but my 'scape makes 1 light difficult.
